12th International Students’ Gathering held in Guinea-Bissau

This year’s 12th International Students’ Gathering, organized by UDEF under the auspices of Presidency of Republic of Turkey, which is being held in 91 cities of 51 countries, completed its events in Guinea-Bissau.


Students from all over the world came together in Guinea Bissau with the slogan “For a Just World, From East to West”. Karadeniz International Student Association President Omer Salimoglu, IHH External Affairs Expert Mehmet Gunduz, ENA University Vice-Rector Dr. Braima Sanha, many academicians and international students attended the event that began with recitation from the Noble Quran.


Mehmet Gunduz, who attended the event representing UDEF in his speech briefed regarding Turkish Scholarship, UDEF and its affliate student organisations, activities related to international students, relations with Turkish Alumni and other similar queries from the participants.


Vice-Rector of ENA Universtity, Dr. Braima Sanha, while mentioning of his pleasure in attending the event, said, “May Allah be please with all those who put efforts to organize this program.” While repeating “For a Just World, From East to West”, he even mentioned about the need of revival of Muslims and the responsibility that the youths owe in this matter.


Dr. Malan Djafuna, Director of Special Education Guinea-Bissau said, “I follow UDEF’s student related works closely. These works are of great importance for international students. I extend my gratitude towards UDEF for their fruitful efforts.”
