12th International Students’ Gathering held in Nepal

This year’s 12th International Students’ Gathering, which is projected to be held in 91 cities of 51 different countries with the slogan of “For a Just World, From East to West” concluded with vibrant events in Nepal.


The event was held in the capital city of Nepal; Kathmandu. The event witnessed an overwhelming presence of international students, students willing to study in Turkey, Turkish alumni from Nepal, President of Student Education Foundation Nepal (SEF) Er. Mohammed Iltaf Hussain Ansari, President of Islami Sangh Nepal Khursid Alam Islahi, Secretary of SEF Abbas Chaudhary, Vice President of SEF Nepal Safiurrahman Ansari, Pharmacist Md. Safiullah, Dr. Muazzam Ansari, Dr. Imran Ansari from Patan Hospital, Kathmandu and a number representatives of various NGOs.


After the recitation from the Noble Quran, Osman Akgul, who attended the event on behalf of UDEF, presented his inaugural speech. In his speech, Akgul while expressing his gladness for the completion of the events of 12th International Student Gathering in Nepal mentioned how these events bring thousands of students from dozens of colors and hundreds of cultures together.


Later addressing the event, President of Islami Sangh Nepal, Khurshid Alam Islahi mentioned about the goals and activities oriented towards youth and international students. While evaluating the significance of events of this kind, he extended his gratitude towards UDEF for their international students related activities.
